Yesterday, my mother in law broke down on the A2 with a faulty clutch, at a time when traffic was at a standstill due to a diesel spill in Blackwall tunnel. She was pushed into a layby by the police, who contacted the RAC on her behalf.

We were put in contact with Chris from Bud Rescue & Recovery Ltd. Talk about a Knight in shining armour! Chris kept us constantly updated on his whereabouts (travelling up from Southend!) and how far he was from reaching us, bearing in mind the terrible traffic. When Chris arrived, he was incredibly polite and helpful and managed to sort the problem out with the car in less than 10 minutes.

I would like to express my huge thanks to Chris and Bud Rescue & Recovery Ltd as a whole for the wonderful service received yesterday. I would have no hesitation in recommending your services, which on the experience of yesterday, were quite outstanding.

I found myself stranded broken down on the M25 with only 1% phone battery at 5pm, the guys were able to get my location and car details on the phone in just a couple of minutes and sent someone over who arrives within 45minutes. The driver was quick, friendly and professional, plus they charged me the same as the AA/Greenflag would have done for only 10miles and the journey was 16 miles and I didn’t have to pay upfront on the phone. Will use again if ever in the same situation & will recommend to others
